Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN)
New Zealand was a large contributor of pilots to the RN's FAA during World War 2, this interest in naval aviation was reignited in 1966 when the RNZAF received the countries first military helicopters which included some naval Wasp helicopters. From this time RNZN Officers could train to become RNZN pilots attached to the RNZAF naval flight. Observer was included not long after time date and Seaman could train as Helicopter Crewman to fulfill the part-time ad-hoc category. In 2005 Helicopter Crewman was made a fulltime category and flying badges began to be issued to them.
